Registration:
Moroccan nationals living in the United Kingdom are kindly requested to register at their earliest convenience with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in London.
Documents required
- Identity Card (Carte d'Identité Nationale)
- Passport +copy of first fourpages of passport +Copy of residence permit in the UK
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, NHS card
- Birth certificate (in Arabic and in French) or book (if available)
- Copy of foreign passport if naturalized citizen
- Certificate of employment or copy of student card

Application for renewal of National Identity Card:
Required documents:
- The Registration Card.
- Original of expired National Identity Card.
- Birth certificate (in Arabic and in French) issued within the last three months or the family book.
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, NHS card ).

Application for a duplicate of National Identity Card:
Required documents:
- The Registration Card.
- Birth certificate (in Arabic and in French) issued within the last three months or the family book
- Certificate of Employment or copy of student card or other document attesting the occupation

- 04 photos.

First Issue of passport:
Required documents:
Under 16 years old:
- The original of the family book or the birth certificate (in Arabic and in French) issued within the last three months.
- Student card or certificate attesting the occupation.
- Foreign passport if naturalized citizen.
- Declaration stating the authorization and approval of both parents for the issuing of the passport.
- 04 passport size photographs
NB: The Moroccan passport is issued without the Moroccan identity card up to the age of 18 years old.
Above 16 years old:
- Valide original National Identity Card (Carte d'Identité Nationale).
- Original of the family book.
- Birth certificate (in Arabic and in French) issued within the last three month.
- Foreing passport if naturalized citizen.
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, NHS card).
- Certificate of Employment or copy of student card or other document attesting the occupation.
- 04 passport size photographs.
- Declaration stating that the applicant has never held a Moroccan passport.
NB: It is against the law to issue a Moroccan passport to any person over 18 years old not holding a valid Moroccan identity card.
Renewal and Extension of passport:
Required documents:
- The Registration Card.
- Original Moroccan passport.
- Valide original National Identity Card (Carte d'Identité Nationale).
- Certificate of Employment or copy of student card or other document attesting the occupation.
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, NHS card).
- 04 passport size photographs.

Lost passport:
Required documents:
- The registration Card.
- Original police report declaring the passport is lost or stolen.
- Copy of the passport declared lost or stolen if not registered with the consulate.
- Valide original National Identity Card (Carte Nationale d'Identité).
- Proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, NHS card).
Including child on the parent's passport:
Required documents:
- Original Family Book indicating the child's birth.
- Valid original passport of the father or mother of the child.
- 02 photographs of the child.
- Written authorization from both parents for the child to be added to one of their passports.

Family book:
If you are born in United Kingdom, we require from you the following documents :
- The husband s original full Moroccan Birth certificate.
- The wife s original full birth certificate.
- The original Moroccan marriage certificate.
- 02 photos.
- Consular card.

If you are born outside the UK you need to contact the authority at the place of your birth.

Body repatriation to Morocco:
Required documents:
- Certificate of death delivered by the authorities of the country of residence.
- Coffin certificate to be issued by a mortuary institution.
- Coroner's clearance exit for coffin.
- Entery authorization of the body issued by Moroccan authorities.
Procuration / Power of attorney:
For Moroccan citizens we require the following:
- The document to be legalised.
- Valid Moroccan ID card.
Fees: £5.01
Note that the concerned has to attend in person to sign in front of the Consulate officer.
Non Moroccan citizens:
The documents have to be legalised first by the UK Foreign Office before being approved by this consulate General.
- The signatory is not necessary to attend the consulate once the document has been legalised by the UK Foreign Office.

Marriages:
one party is a Moroccan national and the other party is of a different nationality we will require the documents as specified bellow:
For men:
- Valid passport.
- 04 photos.
- Birth certificate.
- Certificate of conversion to Islam.
- Criminal records issued by the police in UK.
- Divorce certificate if you have been married before.
- Certificate of no impediment.
- Proof of employment along with the last 3 months pay.
- Certificate of capacity from British Consulate in Morocco.
- Criminal records from the Ministry of justice in Rabat.
- Medical Certificate issued by a doctor in Morocco.
For women:
- passport.
- 04 photos.
- Birth certificate.
- Criminal records obtained from the police in UK.
- Divorce certificate if married before.
- Certificate of no impediment.
- Certificate of capacity obtained from the BritishConsulate in Morocco.
- Criminal records issued by the Ministry of Justice in Morocco.
- Medical certificate from a doctor in Morocco.
